Blood Glucose Content Assay Kit

Cat.No. : KITZ-075
Product Overview : Glucose in the blood of mammals is referred to as blood glucose, and it is the primary form of carbohydrate transport within the body. The concentration of blood glucose is maintained relatively stable through regulation by the nervous system and hormones. When this regulation is imbalanced, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia can occur. Glucose is oxidized by glucose oxidase to form gluconic acid and produce hydrogen peroxide. Peroxidase catalyzes the oxidation of hydrogen peroxide and 4-aminoantipyrine with phenol to generate a colored compound. By detecting the characteristic absorption peak of this colored compound at 510 nm, the blood glucose content can be determined.
