Amino methacrylic resin

• Product Overview: Amino activated material is able to immobilize ligands with carboxyl or formyl groups. The product is prepared by introducing amino groups onto a methacrylic polymer. These resins may be used directly for adsorpotion of compounds having an affinity for the particular amino acid immobilized, or they can serve as functionalised linkers and allow covalent attachment through their free carboxyl terminus to a ligand containing a free primary amine.

• Characteristics: The optimized functional group density of Creative biomart Amino resin (100 μmol/mL) is ideal for coupling of eitherproteins or low molecular weight ligands. For example, lactose was coupled by reductive alkylation to yield a liganddensity of ca. 30 μmol/mL resin.
