• Product Overview: The Aldehyde Oxidase (AO) Assay Kit uses glutaraldehyde as substrate and generates hydrogen peroxide. Potassium iodide (KI) is used for colorimetric detection of hydrogen peroxide at 405 nm (molar extinction coefficient 5.3 mM-1cm-1). Each kit is sufficient for ~50 samples using a 96-well format. Kit components are stable for at least one year if stored and handled properly.
