Description : V-set domain-containing T-cell activation inhibitor 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the VTCN1 gene. B7H4 belongs to the B7 family (see CD80; MIM 112203) of costimulatory proteins. These proteins are expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells and interact with ligands (e.g., CD28; MIM 186760) on T lymphocytes.
Form : Lyophilized from 0.2μm-filtered solution in PBS.
Bio-activity : Measured by its ablility to inhibit anti-CD3-induced proliferation of stimulated mouse T cells.
Endotoxin : <0.06EU/μg protein (LAL test; Lonza).
Purity : ≥98% (SDS-PAGE)
Stability : Stable for at least 1 year after receipt when stored at -20°C. Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20°C.
Storage : Short Term Storage: +4°CLong Term Storage: -20°CHandling Advice: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 100μg/ml in sterile PBS.
