• Bio-activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human uPA at 5 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind mouse PLAUR with a linear range of 1.6-40 ng/ml.
• Molecular Mass: The recombinant mouse PLAUR/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer after removal of the signal peptide. The reduced monomer consists of 522 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 58 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rmPLAUR/Fc monomer is approximately 80-90 kDa due to glycosylation.
