Mouse Bmper is synthesized as a 685 amino acid (aa) residueprecursor protein with a putative 39 aa signal peptide, five tandemchordinlike cysteinerich (CR) domains, a partial von Willebrand factor type Ddomain (vWD), and a carboxyl trypsin inhibitorlike cysteinerich domain (TIL).Secreted Bmper is reported to be proteolytically cleaved to generate twofragments that are disulfide linked.
