Species : Human
Source : HEK293
Tag : Fc
Protein Length : 29-214 a.a.
Description : OX40 binds to receptors on T-cells, preventing them from dying and subsequently increasing cytokine production. OX40 has a critical role in the maintenance of an immune response. OX40:Fc was shown to prevent OX40 from reaching the T-cell receptors, thus reducing the T-cell response. Experiments in mice have demonstrated that OX40:Fc can reduce the symptoms associated with the cytokine storm (an immune overreaction) while allowing the immune system to fight off the virus successfully.
Form : Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
Bio-activity : Blocks T cell proliferation induced by CD134L.
Molecular Mass : ~70kDa (SDS-PAGE)
Purity : ≥95% (SDS-PAGE)
Stability : Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20°C.
Storage : Short Term Storage: +4°C; Long Term Storage: -20°C. After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. PBS containing at least 0.1% BSA should be used for further dilutions.
Concentration : 1mg/ml after reconstitution.
