Species : Human
Source : Sf21 Cells
Tag : His
Protein Length : 42-749 a.a.
Description : The protein encoded by this gene is a transmembrane endopeptidase that belongs to the type II integral membrane zinc-dependent endopeptidase family. The protein is thought to be involved in bone and dentin mineralization and renal phosphate reabsorption. Mutations in this gene cause X-linked hypophosphatemic rickets. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Predicted N Terminal : His & Leu47
Form : Supplied as a 0.2 μm filtered solution in Tris and NaCl.
Bio-activity : Measured by its ability to cleave a fluorogenic peptide substrate, Mca-YVADAPK. The specific activity is >125 pmol/min/μg.
Molecular Mass : Predicted Molecular Mass: 83 kDaSDS-PAGE: 68-85 kDa, reducing conditions
Endotoxin : < 1.0 eu per 1 μg of the protein by the lal method
Purity : >95%, by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by Colloidal Coomassie® Blue stain at 5 μg per lane.
Storage : Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.6 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 °C as supplied.3 months, -20 to -70 °C under sterile conditions after opening.
