Cat. No. : FGF8-374H
Description : Fibroblast growth factor 8 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FGF8 gene. This wide molecular mass is due to glycosylation, which is absent when this cytokine is expressed in E. coli. Production in human 293 cells offers authentic glycosylation. Glycosylation contributes to stability in cell growth media and other applications. The cytokine is greater than 95% pure.
Source : Human 293 cells.
Activity : 15 to 60 ng/mL ED50.
Purity : >95%.
Endotoxin : Endotoxin-free.
Purity Confirmation : The protein was resolved by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the gel was stained with Coomassie blue.
Activity Assay : The specific activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of the Balb/3T3 cell line.
Pathways : MAPK signaling pathway; Melanoma; Pathways in cancer; Regulation of actin cytoskeleton
