Tag : Non
Description : Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha (MIP-3α), also called CCL20, is expressed in the liver, lungs, lymph nodes and peripheral blood lymphocytes. MIP-3α is strongly up regulated by inflammatory signals, and down regulated by the antiinflammatory cytokine IL-10. MIP-3α signals through the G protein-coupled receptor, CCR6, and acts as a chemoattractant to lymphocytes and dendritic cells.
Appearance : Sterile filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Form : Recombinant human MIP-3α is lyophilized with no additives.
Bio-activity : The activity is determined by its ability to act as a chemoattractant to human T cells and is typically in the range of 7 - 70 ng/mL.
Molecular Mass : 8.0 kDa
AA Sequence : ASNFDCCLGY TDRILHPKFI VGFTRQLANE GCDINAIIFH TKKKLSVCAN PKQTWVKYIV RLLSKKVKNM
Endotoxin : Measured by kinetic LAL analysis and is typically ≤ 1 EU/μg protein.
Purity : ≥ 97%
Stability : Lyophilized product is very stable at -20°C. Reconstituted material should be aliquoted and frozen at -20°C. It is recommended that a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is added for long term storage.
Reconstitution : Centrifuge vial before opening. When reconstituting the product, gently pipet and wash down the sides of the vial to ensure full recovery of the protein into solution. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1 mg/mL, which can be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.
