Bio-activity :	Measured by its ability to induce N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase release from differentiated U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 5-15 ng/mL.
Molecular Mass :	The recombinant human C5a consists of 74 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 8.3 kDa which is also estimated by SDS-PAGE.

Reconstitution :	It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
