Description : | AMH is atissue-specific TGF-β superfamily growth factor. Its expression is restrictedto the Sertoli cells of fetal and postnatal testis, and to the granulosacells of postnatal ovary. The human MIS gene encodes a 553 amino acid residue(aa) prepropeptide containing a signal a sequence (1-24), a proregion (25-455),and the carboxylterminal bioactive protein (44-6553). MIS is synthesized andsecreted as a disulfide-linked homodimeric pro-protein. Proteolytic cleavageis required to generate the N-terminal pro-region and the C-terminal bioactiveprotein, which remain associated in a noncovalent complex. |
Source : | E. coli |
Form : | Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 μm filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA with BSA as a carrierprotein. |
N-terminalSequence : | Ala453 |
MolecularWeight : | 11.7 kDa (monomer) |
Activity : | Measuredby its ability to inhibit growth of OVCAR-3 human ovarian carcinoma cells. Measuredby its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized rhMIS at 3 μg/Ml (100μL/well) will bind rrMIS RII/Fc Chimera with a linear range of 1.6-100 ng/mL. |
Endotoxin Level : | <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. |
Purity : | >97%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain. |
Reconstitution : | Reconstituteat 10μg/mL in sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serumalbumin. |
Storage : | Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. |
