Description : A lactate dehydrogenase (LDH or LD) is an enzyme found in animals, plants, and prokaryotes. Lactate dehydrogenase is of medical significance because it is found extensively in body tissues, such as blood cells and heart muscle. Because it is released during tissue damage, it is a marker of common injuries and disease.
Form : Liquid. Suspension in 3.1 M ammonium sulfate, 20 mM tris-chloride, 1 mM DTT, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.5.
