LAT2
-
Official Full Name
linker for activation of T cells family, member 2 -
Overview
This gene is one of the contiguous genes at 7q11.23 commonly deleted in Williams syndrome, a multisystem developmental;disorder. This gene consists of at least 14 exons, and its alternative splicing generates 3 transcript variants, all;encoding the same protein. -

Protein Function
LAT2 has several biochemical functions, for example, SH2 domain binding, protein binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by LAT2 itself. We selected most functions LAT2 had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with LAT2. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

Interacting Protein
LAT2 has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with LAT2 here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of LAT2.
