Taar1
-
Official Full Name
trace amine associated receptor 1 -
Overview
TAAR1 is a G protein-coupled receptor activated by trace amines. Trace amines are endogenous amine compounds that;account for less than 1% of the biogenic amines in most brain regions (Bunzow et al., 2001 (PubMed;11723224)). -

Protein Function
Taar1 has several biochemical functions, for example, G-protein coupled receptor activity,trace-amine receptor activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by Taar1 itself. We selected most functions Taar1 had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with Taar1. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
