MASTL

  • Official Full Name

    microtubule associated serine/threonine kinase-like
  • Overview

This gene encodes a microtubule-associated serine/threonine kinase. Mutations at this locus have been associated with autosomal dominant thrombocytopenia, also known as thrombocytopenia-2. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this locus.

    Protein Function

MASTL has several biochemical functions, for example, ATP binding, kinase activity, protein phosphatase 2A binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by MASTL itself. We selected most functions MASTL had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with MASTL. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
