Overview
Assembly Polypeptides (AP), also known as adaptors, co-assemble with clathrin during the formation of clathrin coated membranes. The AP-1 adaptor is localized at the trans-Golgi network. Gamma-adaptin is one of four subunits of the AP-1 adaptor. -
