DYRK1A
-
Official Full Name
dual-specificity tyrosine-(Y)-phosphorylation regulated kinase 1A -
Overview
Minibrain (MNBH) is also known as DYRK1 and is the human homolog of the mnb gene in Drosophila and is mapped on human chromosome 21q22.2,Which is within the down syndrome critical region. MNBH may be involved in the signaling pathway that controls cell proliferation and is thought to regulate neuronal differentiation and apoptosis by phosphorylating Hip-1. -
