Protein Function
UGT8 has several biochemical functions, for example, 2-hydroxyacylsphingosine 1-beta-galactosyltransferase activity,UDP-galactose:glucosylceramide beta-1,4-galactosyltransferase activity,glucuronosyltransferase activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by UGT8 itself.
