HEMGN

  • Official Full Name

    hemogen
  • Overview

Regulates the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Overexpression block the TPA-induced megakaryocytic differentiation in the K562 cell model. May also prevent cell apoptosis through the activation of the nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB).
  • Synonyms

    HEMGN;hemogen;NDR;EDAG;CT155;EDAG-1;hemopoietic gene protein;negative differentiation regulator protein;erythroid differentiation-associated gene protein

    Protein Function

HEMGN has several biochemical functions, for example, protein binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by HEMGN itself. We selected most functions HEMGN had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with HEMGN. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
