FER

  • Official Full Name

    fer (fps/fes related) tyrosine kinase
  • Overview

FER tyrosine kinase is involved in cadherin, PECAM-1, and integrin mediated cytoskeletal connections. More recent research has also linked FER to decreasing the innate immune response. FER has also been implicated in the control of lipopolysaccharide induced epithelial dysfunction. FER has been shown to be essential in microtubule characteristics in the oocyte meiotic spindle and could also play a role in germinal vesicle breakdown.

    Protein Function

FER has several biochemical functions, for example, ATP binding,Rab GTPase binding, actin binding. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by FER itself. We selected most functions FER had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with FER. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

    Interacting Protein

FER has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with FER here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of FER.
