Introduction

Sponsored by EACR, the meeting aims to bring all kinds of anti-cancer agents researchers together and discuss recent achievements in the field of basic research on anti-cancer agent development and their mechanism(s) of action at both molecular and cellular level. A workshop on cancer stem cell will be organized on the last day of the congress. The main theme of the congress will particularly be the targeting of the cancer stem cells that are considered to be responsible for the resistance to therapy and the recurrence of cancer.
