Overview
A germ-line stem cell division protein Hiwi/Piwi and a negative developmental regulator. PRG1 contains a domain similar to a Piwi domain (Pfam domain) PF02171, and a PAZ domain (PF02170). It also contains similarity to Interpro domains IPR003165 (Stem cell self-renewal protein Piwi), and Argonaute and Dicer protein(PAZ). -
