SRB4

  • Official Full Name

    Srb4p
  • Overview

SRB4 is a transcription factor that has an important role in basal and activated transcription in vitro and is essential for efficient establishment of the transcription initiation apparatus. The SRB-TBP complex binds specifically to the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II (CTD) in forming the transcription initiation complex.
