HHAT
-
Official Full Name
hedgehog acyltransferase -
Overview
Skinny hedgehog (SKI1) encodes an enzyme that acts within the secretory pathway to catalyze amino-terminal palmitoylation of hedgehog (see MIM 600725). -

Protein Function
HHAT has several biochemical functions, for example, 2,4,4-trimethyl-3-oxopentanoyl-CoA 2-C-propanoyl transferase activity,2,6-dimethyl-5-methylene-3-oxo-heptanoyl-CoA C-acetyltransferase activity,2-methylhexanoyl-CoA C-acetyltransferase activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by HHAT itself. We selected most functions HHAT had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with HHAT. You can find most of the proteins on our site.
