ETHE1
-
Official Full Name
ethylmalonic encephalopathy 1 -
Overview
This gene encodes a sulfur dioxygenase that localizes within the mitochondrial matrix. The enzyme functions in sulfide catabolism. Mutations in this gene result in ethylmalonic encephalopathy. -
