Cat.No.:  PE-0793
Product Name:  Recombinant Human Protein Kinase C, Beta, GST-tagged, Active
Product Overview:  Recombinant human full-length PKCbeta II was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 cells using an N-terminal GST tag. MW=105 kDa.
Description:  PKCβ II is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family of serine- and threonine-specific protein kinases that can be activated by calcium and second messenger diacylglycerol and phosphorylate a wide variety of protein targets known to be involved in diverse cellular signaling pathways. PKCβ II has been reported to be involved in many different cellular functions such as B cell activation, apoptosis induction, endothelial cell proliferation, and intestinal sugar absorption.
Applications:  Kinase Assay, Western Blot.
