Background:	PRDM6 (PR Domain Containing 6) is a putative histone methyltransferase that acts as a transcriptional repressor of smooth muscle gene expression. PRDM6 can regulate the phenotypic plasticity of smooth muscle cells by suppressing differentiation and maintaining the proliferative potential of vascular SMCs. It also plays a role in endothelial cells by inhibiting endothelial cell proliferation, survival and differentiation.
Applications:	Suitable for use in enzyme kinetics, inhibitor screening, and selectivity profiling.
Storage:	Store at 4℃ if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store at -20℃ or -80℃ for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
